- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup (60ml) oil
- 1/2 cup (125ml) milk
- 1 small apple peeled and diced

Step 3: Mix the dry ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, salt, baking powder, and cinnamon.
Step 4: Mix the wet ingredients
Step 5: Combine the batter
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until the batter is about halfway mixed.
Add the cinnamon-coated apples and continue stirring until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the muffins light and fluffy.

Divide te batter evenly among the prepared 6-cup muffin cups, filling them about 2/3 to 3/4 full.
Optional: Sprinkle brown sugar or cinnamon sugar on top of each muffin for extra sweetness.
Step 7: Bake the muffins
Place the muffins in the preheated oven and bake at 430°F (220°C) for 5 minutes. Then, reduce the temperature to 350°F (180°C) and continue baking for another 10 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
