  • 1 cup (120g) flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup (90g) sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) oil
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) milk
  • 3/4 cup (100g) strawberries chopped

Step 1: Preheat the oven

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a 6-cup muffin tin with paper liners or lightly grease it.

Step 2: Prepare the strawberries

  • Chop the strawberries into small pieces and toss them with a little flour to help prevent sinking.

Step 3: Mix the dry ingredients

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg.

Step 4: Mix the wet ingredients

  • In a separate bowl, whisk the egg, oil, Greek yogurt, and milk until well combined.

Step 5: Combine the batter

  • Gently stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in the floured strawberries. Do not overmix.

Step 6: Fill the muffin pan

  • Divide the batter evenly between the muffin cups.

Step 7: Bake the muffins

  • Bake for 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Step 8: Cool the muffins

  • Let the muffins cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
